As the year wrapped up, the iOS Business Finance and Solutions category witnessed varying trends in Australia. Here's a snapshot of how five leading apps fared in the fourth quarter of 2023, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Invoice2go: Easy Invoice Maker experienced fluctuating download numbers, peaking at 1.17K in October before dropping to 217 in the final week of December. The app's revenue trended upwards, ending at $40.76K in the last week, while weekly active users saw a decline from 6.68K to 5.53K by the quarter's end.

Intuit Inc.'s QuickBooks Accounting showed a consistent revenue increase, reaching $17.55K in mid-December. Downloads for QuickBooks Accounting varied, with a high of 790 in early October and concluding the quarter at 343. The weekly active users slightly decreased from 3.52K to 3.06K over the period.

Xero Accounting from Xero Ltd reported a notable revenue jump in the last week of December, reaching $18.71K. The app's downloads saw a high of 2.57K at the beginning of the quarter, but ended with a significant drop to 583. Active users started at 10.98K and decreased to 7.98K by the quarter's conclusion.

Invoice Maker, Estimate Billdu by BILLDU LTD showed consistent revenue growth throughout the quarter, peaking at $11.37K in mid-December. Downloads remained stable, with the highest at 241 in late November and ending at 199. Weekly active users for the app showed a slight increase from 234 to 295.

Lastly, QuickBooks Self-Employed, also by Intuit Inc., observed its revenue more than double from the start of the quarter, finishing at $8.97K. Downloads remained relatively low, with a peak at 140 and concluding at 25. The app's active users had a declining trend, starting at 1.67K and dipping to 1.45K.
